Place name associated with the road: So – A Tuc cave is located at the foot of A Tuc hill in the old Hong Bac commune, now A Luoi 2 commune, which is a large cave. Our army chose this cave as an important barracks and warehouse. In the spring of 1968, in the fierce battle between us and the enemy (the enemy dropped many bombs) and us, many of our cadres, soldiers, and militia fought bravely and sacrificed.
During the resistance war, the So – A Tuc Cave relic complex was a place to ensure the support for our troops, and at the same time was a transit station for a large volume of goods to the battlefields in the South promptly, closely linked to the growth and development of the road named after Uncle Ho, so the enemy attacked here very fiercely\u2026
The old Hong Bac commune, now part of A Luoi 2 commune, was once a land that suffered heavy consequences during the war; it now has a completely different face. The locality has focused on mobilizing people to develop potential areas such as forestry, animal husbandry, and tourism services to build the homeland more prosperous. The So – A Tuc Cave relic complex was ranked as a National Historical Relic by the State in 2006. <\/mark><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
